"I knew of this couple that were growing old. They were going to see a friend, but the wife was losing her memory. About two minutes after getting in the car, the wife asked the husband, Where are we going? The husband replied, Over to see our friend. Less than a minute later, “Where are we going?” “Over to see our friend” the husband would reply with the same answer without losing patience. Well, a minute later the wife asked again. And again and again, every minute or so for twenty minutes. And the husband never lost patience, replying with the same answer over and over again. Eventually the wife got so sick she was sent to a hospital. Everyday the husband was by her side. And as time passed, the wife forgot who he was. But he still nursed her. Just before she died, she told him, “I don’t know who you are, but whoever is your girl is really lucky.” If you could do that and no less, then you are in love." idk what i'm supposed to be feeling now ; we need to sort things out. i'm starting to get used to smiling & laughing things off when everything's definitely NOT okay. but tell me what should i do instead. foolish, yet again. _______________________________________ |
