aiteeeeee! update on the trip to beijing :D

FIRST DAY:

i met goh jiayin in the airport! lol! she just finished work, i supposed. :D
the airport's christmas deco is like wooooo~! niceeee! especially after you check-in. there's this pavilion in there, something like the one you would see in disney land. except the one in the airport is the smaller version.

andand, my shoe sole came off as soon as i reached the airport ._. lucky right? lol

on the aeroplane .

LOL! my brother's super funny can!

he actually asked for braised scallop on the aeroplane! in the end he got himself a braised scallop flavoured noodles HAHAHAHAH!

anyway, after 6 hours of flight, went to the hotel to rest first and then went out.

this wall is like amazing can! its handmade by the ancestors.

the most amazing thing is that, when speaking from the other end of the wall, you can hear whatever the other person's saying clearly and loudly! its like the modern speakers! plus, the distance between the two person is wide kay!

believe it or not, see the curves on the floor? the floor tiles are all similar. and its made from a small circle extending outwards starting with a radius of 9, and then 18, 27 etc. amazing right! imagine there's no machines in the past.

the tourguide told me that when you stand on this round thing, when you speak, everybody can hear you. O.O

SECOND DAY:

lol! i told my dad come china must at least take a picture with mr mao (mao ze dong) =x HAHAHAH!

the dusk & dawn in beijing is like super niceeee! really beautiful! cant capture on the cam though.

THIRD DAY:

GREAT WALL! :DDD

i really climbed part of the great wall kay!

lol! was so happy to get the metal thing that says : i made it to the great wall.

but when i climbed back down, i realised that they sold it down there too . @#$%^&#$%!

lol! and after that, my bro and sis went down first while me, dad and mom continue to take more pictures. we then realised that both of them were missing after grandma asked where are they. frantically searching for them up and down. nearly called in the police. in the end they were in the van cus bro said he was too tired. ._.

FOURTH DAY:

lol! china's 冰糖葫蘆 (Candied Haw in a Stick)

i think it tasted quite okay lor, but sis and bro didnt like it.

didnt take much picture that day. was what the chinese call 冬至 (Winter Solstice) .

their 冬至 is not like singapore hor, theirs means the coldest day in the winter season ._.

so was damn damn damn super cold that day, with the addition of the wind. imagine! so was supposed to walk to the olympic stadium, but was so damn cold, didnt make it in the end. lol

FIFTH DAY:

went to another city near beijing, 承德. few days ago it snowed heavily. so everywhr was like filled with snow...the roads and all. this was where we experienced the -20°c . so coldddddd!

LOL! this video is so comical lah! cus my sis have got sweaty palms, and because of the cold weather, the sweat on her palms evaporates quickly, i suppose. so her hands were like producing smoke. HHAHAAHH!

NINTH DAY:

oh oh! this was at a local park. then there was this guy who was there writing calligraphy on the floor using a really big brush + water as ink.

he's super power one can! he uses both his left and right hand to write. right hand to write the normal way of writing, and left hand to write the laterally inverted type. super right!

lol! he wrote my name on the floor! :DDDD
